Hi I'm Alex McKenzie. I've been serving here at KPRD since 2006 as the Saturday evening announcer, and Technical Assistant. I greatly appreciate the opportunities I've had in learning all that goes into making the final product that you hear on the radio!
Testimony
I was raised in the First Baptist Church in Muskogee, OK. One of those "great kids" who loves Jesus from a very young age. It wasn't until just a few years ago however that I really began to realize the depth of the faith. Starting to recognize just exactly what Christ calls us to do, to minister to all the world. I took it upon my own to take advantage of all the learning and growing experiences available to me. Many a Bible Study, Youth group, any bit of The Word I could get into me, I jumped on it, and still do!
I've been very blessed with so many practical experiences in learning Christ's character, and trying to live it out myself. Over the course of the last year I've had the blessing of being able to minister and learn in many countries, and many more seperate cultures within.
I'm currently a remote student in a Bible college in Oklahoma, and practicing my faith in youth ministry here locally. It is my greatest joy to serve Christ, and to see him work in the lives of youth. It's been such a pleasure serving The Lord here at KPRD, broadcasting the Gospel to Midwest Kansas.
