Contact Brenda

Brenda graduated with a degree in Christian Broadcasting from Calvary Bible College in May of 1989. She and her husband James started work at KGCR that summer. They have two girls. One was adopted here in the states in 1998. The other was born and raised in a Russian orphanage and was adopted early in 1999, when she was 5 years old. Brenda works as a part-time announcer at KGCR and also handles the station bookwork. She also enjoys reading.

Testimony

I was raised in a Christian home and attended a good, Bible teaching church. So I know I had heard the plan of salvation many times before I was saved at the age of 6. My children's church teacher was giving the Easter story and it was like I heard the wonderful truth for the first time, that Christ died for me!

There have been times I've wished for a more "exciting" testimony. However, the older I grow, the more thankful I am for my spiritual heritage and the many things I didn't have to go through to have a dramatic story.

God has been so faithful all my life and has so generously blessed me, including my husband James and our two girls, Masha and Kacy. Two special verses are Phil. 4:30, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," and Phil. 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
