    First Baptist Church will host missionary Amanda Good

    Good and her husband, Jon, serve in Europe with International Ministries.

    She will share details about the couple’s current work. A dessert social will follow the presentation where guests can interact with her and ask questions.

    A free will donation to support the couple in their work will be taken.

    Saturday Showcase

    St. Michael’s Episcopal Church is hosting this fundraiser to help with the churches Feeding Hays ministry.

    The Showcase will begin at 7 p.m.

    2900 Canal Blvd. Hays

    The night will feature stand-up comedy routines, music, skits, and will include a meal.

    Cost is $10 at the door. No pre-registration is required.

    Feeding Hays provides a free drive-thru meal each Thursday night for anyone who wants one, no questions asked.

    Vacation Bible School 2024 for children grades Pre-K through Fifth grade at

    The Stockton Methodist Church of Restoration (204 North Elm)

    Monday -Thursday, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.

    The theme "Shipped Wrecked" will be an exciting and spiritual time for the children as they will be offered music, crafts, games and devotion time. Please call the office to register 785-425-6562.

    Avenue of Pinwheels

    Parents who have lost a child of any age, including miscarriages and stillbirths, are invited to attend an annual ceremony honoring those children. All family members and friends are also invited.

    Meeting in the children’s area of Mt. Allen Cemetery in Hays at 7pm.

    It is being sponsored by the Healing Hearts grief support group at the Center for Life Experience.

    After the ceremony, participants are invited to the center, 103C E. 27th St., for refreshments.

    In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the cemetery.
