• The Russell Arts Council and Friends of the Deines Cultural Center are announcing the line up for their upcoming Russell American Roots Music festival.  This year’s festival is in conjunction with “New Harmonies:  Celebrating American Roots Music” exhibit at the Deines Cultural Center.  The Russell American Roots Music Festival is being held Saturday, May 31^st in both downtown Russell and at the festival grounds in Memorial Park.

 

• Sponsored by the Cancer Council of Ellis County, the National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration will be held on Sunday, June 1^st at the St. Nicholas of Myra Parish Center in Hays. It’s a come and go from 2 to 4pm.
